Côté Sud
For those of you looking for a bed and breakfast near the seaside, on the D-Day landing beaches and in Normandy, Côté sud is a cosy and charming 17 m² double room, ideal for a romantic getaway.
It faces east-south, is easily accessible as it is on the ground floor, and has an en-suite bathroom (with a hairdryer, hair straightener, guest soap and hand sanitiser provided).
The bedroom opens directly onto the sunny courtyard, which features a terrace area, a small table and chairs where you can relax. From the windows, you’ll have a view of the surrounding countryside, where cows graze in season, the access path and the River Provence, which runs alongside the house.
As for the décor, there are lovely pastel colours, exposed stonework, terracotta floor tiles, antique furniture with a weathered finish, and a shower and toilet area with a window. In summer, with the windows open, the gentle lapping of the water nearby will lull you to sleep.
Our room doesn’t have a TV, and whilst there’s Wi-Fi available, it can be a bit hit-and-miss… perfect for a weekend or a break where you can switch off!
